In my last post I mentioned how I went on a mission trip to Haiti this past summer. It was an awesome experience. I went through an organization called AIM (Adventures In Missions). Our group leader was a young woman named Aimee. She had all kinds of mission experience due to her time spent on the world race, which is a event set up by AIM. It is a mission trip where you spend 11 months going to 11 different countries. It sounds beyond amazing! There are so many different routes you can choose from too. On the trip I didn't really feel like I was being called to do the world race. But as I sat at home a couple weeks ago searching for summer mission trips I came across the world race. I became so intrigued and began researching it. I definitely want to go on the race, but it may not be until 2014. We will just have to see what God has in store for me! Go check out the site http://www.theworldrace.org/ to learn more about this amazing opportunity!!!

You are so lucky to have been given the opportunity to go to Haiti on a mission. I feel like I have lost touch with God and they way you describe your life living for Him and Him only, I only wish I could have that love for God in my life. Instead pressure has brought me on the path I don't want to be. God will help my find my place so I will wait for Him to help me figure out my life. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinetely seek Him through everything you do. Its amazing how much it changes you and your way of thinking! I totally encourage you to try out a mission trip sometime, because its life changing. You'll want to go on them all the time after you go I promise! I pray that God leads you back onto his path. Maybe try doing devotions or just reading your bible. I know that helps me a lot! And anytime you wanna talk you know how to reach me :)
